Small changes = compounding effects
Even Albert Einstein once put compounded interest as one of the most powerful forces in the universe!
This is because little changes … over time … add up to be BIG THINGS!!!
Do you know that if you set out in your car to drive to a city that just happened to be in another state just 100 miles away, but your steering wheel was off just ¼ of an inch … by the time you got there, you would miss the whole state in its entirety? This is an example of compounded change!
The “miracle” of this simple law of mathematics is that you don’t have to change MUCH to make a big compounded difference in your life!
- If you choose to eat just a little less processed food EVERY DAY … you would be so proud of your progress!
- If you would choose to eat just a little more fresh vegetables each meal … you would be so proud of your body’s response!
- If you would choose to drink just a little more water each hour … you would find that you have discovered a secret that has somehow managed to change your world!
Most people are doing nothing BIG that is wrong in their weight loss plan, yet most people are doing a lot of LITTLE things that are adding up to those big things … in the wrong direction, keeping them “stuck” and missing the whole “state” of weight loss.
Recognize any of these?
- You know you don’t take enough “down time” from all the stress in your life …
- You have more than a few days when you just don’t get enough solid sleep (in total darkness) …
- You more than likely don’t choose to walk those few extra steps when you park somewhere, because you will choose the closest parking spot every time …
The choice is yours. All these little things are adding up in your life every day. Plot your course. Plan your actions. And let the little things take you to exactly where you once aimed to go!
